Ninjas were typically farmers who found creative ways to protect themselves from the Samurai with the use of camouflage, silence, and homemade tools. Join us this summer for an action packed challenge as students learn the fundamentals of Karate and the basics of the (foam) nunchucks! Ninja Ninja learns is an enrichment program introducing students to fundamental martial arts elements like blocking, striking, stances, and situational awareness in a non-contact and non-competitive environment. Through play based target drills, group games, and physical challenges, students will be immersed in the art of Karate while learning to wield (foam) nunchucks!
In this unique course, students will enter the fascinating Jurassic world while building a zip line robot dinosaur. This course’s main focus is introducing students to the fundamentals of electronics and Robotics.*Students will take home every model built throughout the course!

Depending on the participants level we will be sewing a multitude of choices- color selection, fabric options, design and proportion to help kids stimulate their creative thinking skills. Students build new and different projects each week as they graduate from simple machines, to motorized mechanisms, to robotics with basic programming. They’ll learn all about engineering principles such as gears, wheels, axles, levers, and pulleys. This class is as fun as it is educational!
Strap in, because this session the Egghead Engineering team is hopping in the time machine and going back in ancient history to build huge engineering marvels! Using LEGOs, students will build awesome ancient creations like aqueducts, huge dams, wells, and giant coliseums. Then, we'll test them with the crush test, the weight test, and all of our other tests to make sure they can stand up to the challenge! All Eggheads will get their Ancient Engineer ID card, authorizing them to design and build any ancient wonder they can think of. At the end of the session, they’ll also get their official Ancient Engineer Degree - proving they’re ready to build the toughest challenges!
Needle felting is a creative craft where you use special barbed needles to repeatedly poke and bring wool fibers together, allowing us to sculpt 3D shapes and designs. Kids will be able to create animals, dolls or any little creature that they can imagine. This is all done by hand, making it wonderfully therapeutic and a great outlet for creative expression. Needle felting also has many other benefits like; Improving concentration and cognitive function, improving fine motor skills.
Let’s put on a show! In this camp we will perform a scaled down version of a popular musical from start to finish through dancing, singing, and acting. Every student will have a role and learn choreography and songs and lines as they work together to tell a story! Crazy fun and the final show is NOT to be missed!

After the session is over, the comic booklets are taken back to our studio and professionally edited and put together! Think you've got what it takes to be an Egghead Machine Engineer?! Using LEGO™, students will design and build real mega machines like spinning windmills, lifting cranes, elevators, cars, and way more. We'll use wheels, bands, gears, pulleys, and tons of other cool specialty Lego pieces to build our Machines, and then after the building phase is complete we’ll put them to the test. That means we'll try to break 'em, blow them over, and put weight on them. If you pass the test, you pass the challenge. At the end of the session, all students will receive their very own Egghead Engineering Degree!

This session, students become real-life inventors on Professors Egghead’s team as they experiment with awesome creations like helicopters, hovercraft, rockets, and catapults and learn the science behind what makes them work! Then they’ll create their very own inventions to take home at the end of each class. All Eggheads will get their Inventors ID card and at the end of the session, students will receive their degree proving they’re ready to go out and invent something amazing on their own!

Each day a new story/ challenge will be presented. Students will learn how to work together using logic and wit, to race the clock in order to solve whatever challenge or mystery the day might bring. Of all the popularized styles, Karate is best known for its feuding history between the Samurai and Ninja. Ninjas were typically farmers who found creative ways to protect themselves from the Samurai with the use of camouflage, silence, and homemade tools. Join us this summer for an action packed challenge as students learn the fundamentals of Karate and the basics of the (foam) nunchucks! Ninja Ninja learns is an enrichment program introducing students to fundamental martial arts elements like blocking, striking, stances, and situational awareness in a non-contact and non-competitive environment. Through play based target drills, group games, and physical challenges, students will be immersed in the art of Karate while learning to wield (foam) nunchucks!
Creating works of art with their hands using clay. Your work will be fired and glazed using the facilities available at Children’s Community School. All glazes are lead free and food safe. Projects will include bowls, slab structures and open sculptural explorations!

This is neither a beginner nor an advanced class; it’s both! In this course Kids To Kings welcomes students of all ages and experience levels. Players that are new to Chess will be introduced to The Game of Kings and learn everything from the names of the Chessmen all the way to special moves like Castling. For more experienced players we will go beyond the basics to explore Chess strategy, technique and style! The class will be fun and upbeat and will include gameplay, puzzles, and group activities. And there will be something challenging for all involved. This is truly Chess 4 Everyone!
Strap on your gear, grab your binoculars, and join the Egghead Explorer Squad as we fizz, pop, mix, and experiment our way around the Earth! As Egghead Explorers, students will make a sundial to keep track of the time, a flashlight to see in the dark, fake tar pits, fossils, volcanoes, snow, magnetic cars, and tons more. The best part? They get to take it all home! All Eggheads will also get their Explorer ID card and an Egghead Explorer Degree authorizing them to use real science to explore the globe!
This class will introduce the process of relief printing using a cylinder press. Students will create a multilayered print utilizing transparent colors and overlapping shapes. Students will also be introduced to materials for printmaking and create personal projects.
Alakazam! Welcome to Houdini’s Magic Workshop where we will put our illusion and trickery skills to the test! Each week, we will sharpen our craft of dexterity, story-telling, presentation, and most of all…Performance; all while learning mind blowing tricks students will get to take home! Mentalism, card tricks, coin tricks and classic misdirection, all just a few of the amazing skills we will learn. But a great magician is only as good as their stage presence! Therefore, we shall hone and perfect our performance techniques through a variety of exciting games and magical exercises…And did I mention students get to take new tricks home each day?!
This session in our Hand Sewing class as always, we will be having fun while learning basic and some more advanced hand stitches. Attendants will pick an individual project to work on. Depending on the participants level we will be sewing a multitude of choices- color selection, fabric options, design and proportion to help kids stimulate their creative thinking skills. Completing a project fosters a sense of accomplishment. Hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills develop through the use of the hands, and exercises in following directions along with problem solving skills are all added benefits of sewing experiences for children.

In FilmKids, students will have the opportunity to participate in all sides of filmmaking. From writing to acting, directing to producing, camera (also known as cinematography) to editing, students will work together each day to create a variety of different film projects with real cameras and gear.
